Orlando, Fla. (Via Orlando City SC) – Orlando City SC has announced a working relationship with South Brevard FC.

The relationship will provide the Space Coast-based youth soccer club with a direct and meaningful connection to the Orlando City professional and youth academy teams. This will allow South Brevard to extend their development pathway for their most advanced players and provide opportunities to transition to the highest playing levels available in Florida.

“We are delighted that South Brevard FC have agreed to partner with us in Brevard County,” Orlando City SC President and Founder Phil Rawlins said. “They have great values and a strong base of talent, which we know will only continue to get bigger and stronger. We believe that over the next year this relationship can develop into a more formal affiliation between the two clubs.

“The program will have extensive benefits for South Brevard players and their coaches,” Rawlins added. “These benefits include access to Orlando City coaching resources, coaching education, player assessment and opportunities to attend Orlando City and Orlando Pride training sessions and player appearances.”

“We are very excited to begin our partnership with Orlando City Soccer Club,” South Brevard FC President Rob Rogulski said. “We look forward to offering our promising young talent the opportunity to further their soccer careers through the Orlando City youth academies.”

Tryouts for South Brevard FC will take place from May 31 to June 3 at Palm Bay Regional Park.
